Then we went to a bunch of museums in Seattle. There was the Museum of Flight, where we saw the actual Airforce One used by  President Eisenhower. Oh and here I am making like Richard Nixon on the Airforce One plane.

At the Rock’Roll Music Experience Museum, first I see the Supremes and then this tree of guitars! Btw, these were the actual costumes worn by the Supremes for the Sonny and Cher Show….or was it the Flip Wilson Show?

The architect of the Rock’Roll Music Experience Museum was Frank Gehry…one of my favorite architects. He did the famous Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao Spain and the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. Did I mention he went to USC? Love his wavy style of the roof.

At the Science Fiction museum we got to see the actual equipment used on Star Trek shows to get beamed up by Scotty, take reads of the planet and be used by Doc for medicine.

Ever notice in Star Trek if ever a red-uniformed staff member joins Kirk or Spock or Doc in going down to a planet he gets killed? Glad the Museum pointed that out to me. There’s also a shot below of the original uniform worn by Captain James T. Kirk and Spock and Kirk’s chair on the USS Enterprise. Very cool for us Trekies.

Our last stop was in Victoria, BC. It was pretty strange meeting Darth Vader playing the violin on the streets here. I thought for a sec we were still in the Seattle SciFi museum!
