With Pastor Nelson, a former gang leader in El Salvador, and who had been shot five times in the chest in his old life. He has given his life to Christ, and today he serves as a youth pastor in one of the churches that work with Compassion International. His church has a special ministry to gang members.

Thanks for sharing, Dan. Yesterday was one of our children’s birthday. I was praying for Lia, and for Compassion. Great to see you and other pastors with the kids and Compassion partners. What a difference Compassion makes!
